What is täältä?
A little Finland, delivered by mail. täältä is a letter celebrating Finnish life, culture and creativity, sent to your mailbox every month.
What's in each envelope?
At the heart of every mailing is a letter to read and linger over, drawn from Finnish seasons, traditions, language, everyday life, and the ties between Finland and Finnish America.
Alongside it you'll find a changing mix of things to discover and keep: Finnish vocabulary, poetry, recipes, music and listening suggestions, tiny original art prints, postcards, bookmarks, stickers and small surprises. No two months are quite the same.
When do letters ship?
Letters ship on the 11th of every month.
When will I get my first letter?
Orders placed by the last day of a month get the letter that ships on the 11th of the following month. For example, if you order any time in October, your first letter ships on November 11.
How long does delivery take?
Within the US, letters usually arrive within a week of shipping. International delivery typically takes 1–3 weeks, depending on the country.
What's the difference between the options?
- Monthly subscription – a letter every month, billed monthly.
- Annual subscription – 12 letters throughout the year, billed once a year. Renews automatically.
- 1 year – one time purchase – 12 letters throughout the year, paid once, no renewal.
- 3 months – one time purchase – 3 letters over three months, paid once, no renewal.
Can I give täältä as a gift?
Yes. The 3 month and 1 year one time purchases are made for gifting: you pay once and the recipient receives a letter every month for the length you choose, with nothing to cancel. Just enter their name and address as the shipping address at checkout.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. We ship to the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. Prices are shown in your local currency, and shipping is calculated at checkout.
How do I change my address?
Contact us before the last day of the month and the next letter will go to your new address.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Contact us. Cancel before the last day of the month and no further letters will be sent or billed.
My letter didn't arrive. What should I do?
Letters occasionally take longer than expected. If yours hasn't arrived by the end of the month, let us know and we'll help.
